cultivate a resilient mind.
What is ReMind?
Inspired by the principles of neuroplasticity, ReMind is a climbing experience designed to deepen the body-mind connection. When we move mindfully on the wall, we become aware of our body and our thoughts. When we understand our body’s language, we can regulate our responses.

Try a session or purchase a bespoke package with a hybrid model of in-person sessions linked with at-home activities and weekly check-ins. Both indoor and outdoor climbing options are available.
When you choose a package over individually purchased sessions, we work with you to develop a curriculum tailored to your child’s specific strengths and areas for growth. The curriculum is designed together with parents and guardians and modularised around themes such as habit building, self-regulation, growth mindset, executive function skills, and critical and creative thinking. It can also be adapted to preexisting Individual Learning/ Education plans if applicable.
ReMindRecovery
Recovery has many forms– from physical rehabilitation to healing from depression and addiction. We approach recovery holistically, working with the physical, mental, and emotional states to restore wellness and balance. Our approach with climbing fosters mental resilience, rebuilds self confidence and self-esteem, and helps individuals learn to trust themselves and others.

ReWire
We use climbing as a vehicle to navigate stress, address anxiety, and learn practical strategies for nervous system regulation. Because you can so easily and precisely make climbing challenging, it’s a great tool for working in your ideal zone for awareness and growth.

Our toolbox
To build a more resilient brain, we need the right tools.
Mindset
We use climbing to elicit reactions and explore those reactions through thoughtful questioning by our trained guides. This iterative process, coupled with reflection at the end of the session, is designed to build your resilience both on and off the wall.
Fall practice
Intentionally placing ourselves in a stressful (yet controlled) environment allows us to practice being aware of and evaluating our comfort zones. Fall practice is designed to change the mind’s narrative through experience and (gently) expand what we think we’re capable of.
Blindfolded climbing
Climbing blindfolded focuses your mind on the present by removing your ability to judge holds. Exposing your body and mind to this experience, with help from trained professionals, teaches your body and mind new ways to handle the stresses you encounter on the wall. And in life.
Becca Winkler:
"After taking a break from climbing due to health issues, I was nervous to be on the wall again. But the compassionate support I received from ReWilder helped me build trust in my body. And helped me fall back in love with climbing!”
WomenOnTheWall
Where women come together to reconnect with nature. Over two-days, we use the experience of climbing outdoors to find our ground and address mental blocks that get in the way of life. Each retreat is limited to a small group for an unfiltered and authentic experience.
Steph Maxwell:
“ReMind was born from my climbing journey as well as the many lives I’ve seen affected by it. It is the perfect playground for identifying the edge of your comfort zone and expanding it. Climbing helped me become more self aware and confident in my own abilities, on and off the wall. Our intention is to guide others to experience their own growth from climbing.”
Steph is trained in therapeutic climbing and experiential education. She also has a level-three climbing wall instructor certificate and a level-three SEACF Certification for Sport Climbing.
